Mr. Nice! by Purva Grover

I am three drinks down
And I don’t know if you are around
I am going to jump, spin and hop
Till I touch the roof top

I can hear my heart beat loud
And I want to twist on its count
Just let me know when it is dawn
I don’t want this moment gone

I have found my Mr Nice,
Just that I am nicer than him
So I’ve told him to go to hell
And forget for him I ever fell
I am wearing a bright new dress
Fluttering a little more, a little less
Can someone hold my heels?
Till I reach the wheels
I can hear my dad shout
I was not supposed to be out
Just stop me from ringing the bell
I don’t want him to yell

I have found my Mr Nice,
Just that I am nicer than him
So I’ve told him to go to hell
And forget for him I ever fell

I have burnt your letter
It couldn’t have gotten better
I will try to remember what we had
And try not to be mad

Will they chase me if I speed?
I won’t run over anyone
Is this where I got to stop?
And then walk up to the top
I can hear my dad shout
I was not supposed to be out
Just stop me from ringing the bell
I don’t want him to yell
I have found my Mr Nice,
Just that I am nicer than him
So I’ve told him to go to hell
And forget for him I ever fell
